Setup and Administration for the Arch Platform

Requirements

The Control Panel requires Sql Server for its database. Additional database technologies will be supported as demand requires.

Manually create the database (ie, ArchControlPanel) before running the Control Panel. It will create its tables automatically on first run.

Installation

The Control Panel is distributed as a Docker image from our container registry.

Download the service definition and change the volume source path to something appropriate for your computer. The Control Panel will write files to this path.
Download the appropriate compose script, edit it as necessary, and execute it.
With the container running, go to http://localhost:50000 in your browser to access the Control Panel.

No Production Deployment

Do not deploy the Control Panel in a production environment. It is designed to run from your internal environment and contact your production deployment, but its data must not be in the same environment as a production deployment.
