Requirements

The Files Api requires a filesystem volume with write access. Files are stored in an encrypted directory structure on disk; no database is required.

The Files Api depends on the Application Api. It must be running and your application must be created before the Files Api can be deployed.

Provide a dedicated data path for the Files Api and ensure Docker has write access to it. The Api will create its directory structure on first run.

Installation

The Files Api is distributed as a Docker image from our container registry.

Download the service definition and change the volume source path to something appropriate for your computer. The Files Api will write encrypted files to this path.
Set up the Files Api in the Control Panel (see Setup).
Copy the encrypted values for each environment variable the Control Panel gives you and paste them in the service definition file.
Download the appropriate compose script, edit it as necessary, and execute it.
