Requirements

The Comments Api requires Sql Server for its database. Additional database technologies will be supported as demand requires.

The Comments Api depends on the Application Api. It must be running and your application must be created before the Comments Api can be deployed.

Manually create the database (ie, ArchCommentsApi) before running the Comments Api. It will create its tables.

Installation

The Comments Api is distributed as a Docker image from our container registry.

Download the service definition and change the volume source path to something appropriate for your computer. The Comments Api will write files to this path.
Set up the Comments Api in the Control Panel (see Setup).
Copy the encrypted values for each environment variable the Control Panel gives you and paste them in the service definition file.
Download the appropriate compose script, edit it as necessary, and execute it.
