Guardian Unlock

This screen is only necessary if using the Hardware Security Module feature of the Application Api. When enabled, a Guardian will be activated on the Application Api that starts it up in a Sealed state until it is manually Unsealed.

Whenever the Application Api restarts for any reason, such as with operating system reboots or power failures, it (and thus all of Arch) will not serve requests until it is unlocked. Unlocking is a manual procedure designed to keep data safe in the event of remote physical tampering.

Press the Unlock button to Unseal the Application Api. The credentials that unlocking requires will already have been specified in the Guardian configuration screen. Unlocking must be done every time the Application Api restarts.
