The Application configuration page sets up the microservice's authorization with the Application Api. No outside service may contact a microservice in Arch unless it is authorized by the Application Api. This page provides the configuration details necessary for the microservice to communicate with the Application Api.

When this page is first accessed, an Import From Application Api button will appear. Push this to auto-fill each of the settings with their appropriate values as determined by the Application Api. You will almost never need to edit these values.

The Url parameter is the url where the Application Api can be accessed.

The Application Id parameter is the unique identifier of the application to which this microservice belongs.

The Api Key is used to authorize this microservice with the Application Api.

The Envelope Password is used to encrypt communications from this microservice to the Application Api. All messages are wrapped in an envelope which is secured with this password.
